New Hope was founded in March 1983 by a few recovering alcoholics who saw the need in the community for a safe place for women to detox from alcohol and drugs and begin rebuilding their lives. The need is just as great today.
The facility is a two-story former neighborhood clubhouse located in Pasadena, TX and can house 26 women. Generally, there is a wait list for those seeking our assistance.
Detox is a crucial part of the recovery process, but it is only the beginning. New Hope can help women build a foundation for the journey of recovery and provide the ongoing support needed to maintain sobriety.
We provide a safe, structured residential environment and peer support to guide women through the initial stages of the recovery process and we aid and encourage these women in remaining sober and becoming productive members of society.
